I doubt that Microsoft ever really expected this situation either, or they would take made license claims prior to now. Their press release was really more tongue-in-cheek ribbing than serious licensing overture.

Honestly.... what was Apple tree thinking?!?!? That they could merely wait a few months to apply for a patent???? Even though Neb may exist ruthless... you have to give Apple tree some idiot points for non being on their game.
Apple finally gets a solid product line that actually takes off.. so WHAMMMM! MS STIKES Once more!
It volition be interesting to see what the last ruling is.

Give thanks god, i've got my iPod (hmm,sounds like a song..!) two months ago and i didnt pay 10$ more to "son of the...neb". I realy hate Micro$oft and neb gates LINUX rulz!

It's the truth, it was on like CNN or something a few weeks ago (aye i picket the news, when its midnight and no good shows are on), merely Bill really has a good eye for business organization, he makes coin off just virtually everything, even those that aren't his/his companies inventions. If we we're in his position and knew we could practise it, and so we probably would.
